Features

  • Satellite test modulator with integrated agile L-band upconverter, excellent phase noise and programmable output level.
  • All parameters and constellations for DAB, DVB-S, DVB-S2 and ISDB-S are supported (except S2X), including 16-APSK and 32-APSK.
  • White noise (AWGN) insertion option for testing receiver characteristics. Other special features include user-programmable channel filters and I/Q sample playout.

Applications

  • Satellite television RF signal generator for use in your R&D lab, for developing and qualifying satellite-television equipment.
  • In combination with MuxXpert, (re-)multiplex in real-time multiple services, add (P)SI tables, and generate a full DVB-S or DVB-S2 signal.
  • Create your own application that generates an RF signal that can be directly connected to a satellite receiver. Even actual uplinking to a satellite is feasible and in active use by some of our customers.
